As an artist and gallery registrar, I developed a database to handle the basics and nitty gritty of managing a collection of artworks. The solution grew and became more functional and I made an effort to distribute it to help artist, gallerists and collectors. Unfortunately the business model of selling a one off standalone piece of software is not a functional way to make a living (look to all the others out there for monthly/yearly licensing models).

Artwork inventory has been on hold for some time since Apple and Filemaker discontinued the ability for solution developers to distribute runtime applications. Artwork Inventory works using native Filemaker.

Currently I am in the process of moving to a new web hosting server, and thinking about the next iteration of inventory solutions for artworks.
